evolutionnn

Sorry for not writing for so long - I'm swimming in work! ): I'm now doing research on my Evolution and Comparative Genomics module - we're supposed to come up with a topic and present it in an evolutionary point of view for 5 mins, followed by having to deal with Q&A for another 5 mins. 15% of total grade just like that! XD

While research, I found that I'm getting more and more interested in giraffes and carrots! Haha, a weird combination, I know; I meant them separately!

Too much to talk here; I may post up interesting facts about them soon, though (:

And I just found out that baby carrots were simply deformed carrots that were peeled and chopped up to appear nicer XD http://www.wisebread.com/baby-carrots-the-frugal-idea-that-isnt

And I confirmed the fact that I heard in a documentary on GMOs (genetically modified organisms) that all carrots were actually not orange in the beginning! http://www.nextnature.net/2009/08/why-are-carrots-orange-it-is-political/ (cool website too; love the bg :D)

Okayy that's all for now; back to work! (:
